Bio: Anthony is our Senior Partner and is based at our Birkenhead office. He started with the firm in 1972 and became a Partner in 1985. In January 03 he became Senior Partner. Anthony understands that clients will often need to speak with him out of office hours or see him with short notice and will always accommodate clients who need to make an emergency appointment and provides his mobile telephone number to all his clients. His practice is largely high criminal defence work, licensing, domestic and commercial conveyancing, probate and wills. He has over 40 years experience dealing with divorce, matrimonial and ancillary matters where he has dealt with many disputes including complex financial matters, he is committed to settling his client’s cases with a view to achieving the best possible result whilst minimising emotional trauma and stress. He also has a large amount of motoring cases drawn not only from the local region but due to his high success rate has cases stretching across the UK. Anthony is proud to work with the Police Federation by representing the Police. He is an active fund raiser for many local charities.
Bio: Cath is a Partner based at our Wallasey branch but also attends clients at our Birkenhead office. She stated with the firm in 1982 and became a Partner in 1989. Her practice is in domestic and commercial conveyancing; dealing with all aspects of property matters including sales, purchase, remortgage, equity release, transfer of equity and leases. Cath has over 30 years experience dealing with divorce, matrimonial and ancillary matters where she favours a collaborative and constructive approach in order to resolve disputes without going to court. Her clients appreciate her sympathetic ear and sensitive approach whilst having peace of mind that their matter is being dealt with in a professional and expert manner achieving the resolution they are looking for. She also deals with probate, wills and lasting powers of attorney including acting as attorney or deputy for her clients.
Bio: Alan qualified in 1996 and joined the firm as a Partner in July 2004 and is based at our Wallasey branch. His practice is in domestic and commercial conveyancing matters covering all property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, equity release and leases, he also deals with probate and wills.

Bio: Quentin qualified as a Solicitor in 1990 and joined the firm in July 94 and is based at our Birkenhead office. He is authorised to exercise devolved powers and is a Higher Courts Criminal Advocate. With over 25 years of criminal law experience Quentin regularly appears in both the magistrates and crown court. As a duty solicitor he is also available to represent you in the police station. He is a highly motivated and tenacious defence lawyer who appreciates that clients often need to speak with him urgently and is happy to speak directly or respond to initial text messages sent to his direct mobile number provided.
Bio: Tracey is an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and started with the firm in 1990. Her practice is largely criminal defence work, RTA claimant and PI work. She is involved on a day to day basis with the preparation of serious crime cases under the supervision of Anthony Nelson. Over the last 18 years has worked on high profile cases such as murder, large scale benefit fraud, fraud offences and serious drug offences, police corruption, HMRC cases and general serious crime.

Bio: Jenny qualified as a Solicitor in 2010, practicing personal injury and civil litigation at a large regional law firm. She then gained valuable Practice Management experience at a small personal injury practice, before joining Haworth & Gallagher in 2015 as Practice Manager. Whilst working with Haworth & Gallagher, Jenny further diversified her skills by assisting Cath Kehoe with conveyancing and family matters and qualified as a family mediator. Jenny became a Partner at this firm in 2018 and now divides her time between mediation and practice management.
